The Stickup is our original stereo Stick pickup module, heard on dozens of classic
and current Stick artist recordings. This pickup is popular for its "three-dimensional"
sound quality, with brings the clarity of an acoustic instrument together with the presence of an
electric one.
This module is designed to reproduce every elemement of The Stick's tone with
a minimum of coloration, hum and noise.
Our custom-wound humbucking pickups produce a loud and full-frequency
response with lots of high overtones. Both pairs of coils are wired to
cancel hum and buzz, are shielded and grounded, and have individual volume
controls. The pickup housing is mounted on rubber-tipped, height-adjustable
set screws, isolated from any direct contact with the wooden body structure.
Each coil has adjustable set-screws to control the individual string volumes.
The entire housing slides out by removing two screws.
