Carrie Melbourne playes in the group Melbourne along with husband Doug Melbourne and Jamie Fisher. In addition to her role as lead vocalist, Carrie is also the group's Stick and bass player and also plays classical piano as well as classical guitar. While her role as vocalist is the role most immediately identifiable, her talents as an instrumentalist are not to be overlooked. As a Stickist and bass player, Carrie has also toured with Mike Oldfield, Tricky, and Babylon Zoo. She also performs as a solo in and around the UK.
