Roland GI-20 GK-MIDI Interface
|
If you're looking to enter the world of synthesis, sample-triggering, or
MIDI sequencing using your Stick, then this is your box.
The GI-20 detects the signal from a Stick equipped with GK-3 MIDI guitar
or GK-3B MIDI bass quitar pickups, and lets you trigger synthesizers and
samplers, or even record your playing as MIDI data. And with its built-in
USB MIDI port, the GI-20 is perfect for computer-based recording setups.
Using the GI-20, transposition is very flexible and individual strings can
be transposed to configure custom tunings, without retuning your strings of
course. These custom transpositions can then be stored in chains and banks.
- Powerful GK-MIDI inteface, ideal for turning your favorite synthesizer
or MIDI module into a fretboard synth controller.
- Built-in USB MIDI port for computer connection.
- Easy knob-based controls and dedicated buttons for fast, intuitive
operation.
- Patch Memory lets you store user settings including "Play Feel" and
"Transpose/Mute" settings for each string, also Bank Select/Program
Change messages for live performance.
- Perfect size and configuration for use with Roland XV-2020 Synthesizer
module.
- Flexible Transpose functions +2/-3 octave with optional footswitch
control.
- Guitar/bass selector switch on the rear allows optimization of tracking
for high (guitar) strings or low (bass) strings.
At Stick Enterprises, we offer the GI-20 alone or in combination with
the custom GK-3 pickup/preamp installed and ready to play. Prices are very
competitive. See our price list for details. Shipping
